Fighting for Liberty
Introduction
Hi, I AM Benjamin Wayne Merring. My domicile is within the borders of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania I have lived on this earth for fifty years, or so I have been told. The truth is none of us
know for sure when we were born we only know what we were told. Anyway I am a Sovereign man one
of the many that make up WE THE PEOPLE. I have a vested interest in this country. This might come
as a surprise to some of you that venture here but This is our country and despite popular belief our
government is suppose to serve us not enslave us.
As it is in each of the fifty states that make up this union. The state and local government have
become more powerful and along the way government has also become more intrusive and more
abusive. In the past Sheriffs and Constables who were elected by us to protect our freedoms and
uphold the law. But today we have thousands of Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) stationed in every
town and hamlet and a state police force that canvases the entire state. They would have you believe
that their mission is to protect and serve that they are our friends and that we can trust them.
BALONEY!
LEO'S are not elected by us and there duty is not to us. There duty is to there master.
GOVERNMENT! Their duty is to enforce government laws, statues, ordnances and executive orders.
They do not protect your rights or defend your freedom they are nothing more than jack-booted
thugs that abuse and misuse good people and what is it that drives them? Revenue!
Friends, things are out of whack. A little over a hundred years ago you could pack up your family and
all your belongings and move five miles down the road. You did not need a licence you did not need
permission you were free to travel. Today, if you pack up your family and all of your belongings and
move five miles down the road - I could not even begin to count how many laws you could be accused
of breaking before you could even reach your destination. Friends something is wrong! Our rights
are being trampled underfoot and the real crime is that we are letting it happen.
I for one have said enough! I am a sovereign man. I am endowed by my creator with unalienable
rights. I have a right to travel and I do not need their stinking permission to go from point A to point B.
I do not need a licence to travel. I do not need to register my automobile. I do not need to subject my
automobile to state inspection and I can not be forced to carry auto insurance. It is true that title 75
(the Pennsylvania vehicle code) applies to some people but I declare that it does not apply to me.
Further I decided that even if ordered by LEO to PARK IT! I will not comply! When ordered not to
DRIVE I decided that I would put it in gear and proceed on my way. After all, you only have a Right if
you have the guts to exercise it.
Well I did what I said I would do and yes! I was arrested. My hope here is that you will love liberty
enough to read my story, review all the procedures, transcripts and in the interest of OUR FREEDOM
offer your impute as I fight for the Right to travel. The pages that follow is one mans fight to live free
or die trying.
